MOCA Domain:
FERM and PDZ domain containing 2 (FRMPD2) is a peripheral membrane protein and is involved in polarizing and formation of tight cell-cell junctions in epithelial cells. FRMPD2 has approximately 2 more copies in the human genome than in other primates. The significance of these other copies is not understood.
